My printmaking practice, including screen printing, woodblock, and etching on both fabric and paper combines African mythology and Christian/Catholic aesthetics. Gen Z humor, satire, and symbolism play key roles within my work, allowing me to challenge viewers with reinterpreted narratives while using language and references that are connected to my everyday life.
Currently, my primary focus is on researching African mythology, religion, and folktales and examining how they intersect with European religious narratives and iconography through my exploration of prints and comics. Using mediums such as fine metals, screen printing, woodblock, and etching, I reinterpret Renaissance compositions by centering Black subjects and infusing them with African mythology.

Through this work, I aim to challenge dominant narratives, celebrate the depth and beauty of Black identity, and construct a visual language that is personal and somewhat relatable for my generation. Art, for me, is not just expression, it is resistance, reclamation, and radical imagination that keeps me wanting to create and expand.
