I spent 5 weeks at Glassroots in Newark, NJ where I did flameworking and made glass beads. Made a paperweight from glassblowing, did multiple mosaics, made a book, and did self-portraits. Also, did raku firing, pate de Verre, printmaking, flower arrangements, and fabric design. Then the next 7 weeks I went to Peters Valley School of Craft in Layton, NJ. There I took up a new art medium each week, ceramics, shibori, blacksmithing, wooden and metal jewelry, and printmaking. At the end of the fellowship, I did two exhibits.
